About the Program

The Dual Study Program in Business Administration and Retail Management at EDEKA Verbund is a six-semester program that combines theoretical knowledge with practical experience. As a student, you will alternate between studying at the DHBW in Heilbronn and working in our administration in Moers.

  • You will gain a deep understanding of the entire process of procurement, sales, and supply chain management.
  • You will learn about the optimization of product ranges, brand management, and category management.
  • You will gain insights into the work of our buyers and logistics team.
  • You will be involved in implementing changes and trends in the food industry.
  • You will alternate between the DHBW in Heilbronn and our administration in Moers every three months.
Requirements
  • Abitur or Fachabitur with good grades.
  • Mathematical and analytical skills.
  • Engaged work attitude and performance willingness.
  • Enjoyment and passion for the dynamic world of retail.
Program Structure

The program consists of six semesters and leads to the academic degree of Bachelor of Arts. You will attend modules such as business administration, economics, and mathematics, as well as in-depth courses on category management, digitalization in retail, and retail marketing. You will also have the opportunity to choose from exciting elective courses such as 'Trends in Consumer Goods Retail' or 'Opportunity and Risk Management in Consumer Goods Retail'. This comprehensive knowledge will provide you with the ideal foundation for a seamless entry into EDEKA Verbund.
