HENSOLDT Optronics GmbH is seeking a skilled Software Developer to join their team in the Software & Hardware Framework department.
About the Role
The successful candidate will be responsible for participating in the design, development, and maintenance of a cross-sectional software platform.
Key Responsibilities
- Design, develop, and maintain a cross-sectional software platform
- Support in defining the software architecture by developing technical designs and concepts
- Software development in Rust under Linux
- Use of modern software technologies (git, Atlassian tools, CMake, buildroot, containerization)
- Agile planning and implementation of software development (SCRUM)
- Accompanying software development until application maturity
- Use and expansion of the CI / CD pipeline
Requirements
- Completed studies in computer science or related courses with a focus on software development
- Experience in using common build and Linux tools is advantageous (Make, CMake, shell scripting)
- Experience in the implementation of development projects
- Very good knowledge of Rust
- Confident handling and basic understanding of Linux
- Analytical, networked thinking and independent approach
- Team player with strong social skills and enthusiasm
- Innovative spirit and creativity
- Very good knowledge of German and English
