Job Summary

As a Senior Hardware/Embedded Systems Engineer at Enpal Supply Chain GmbH, you will play a key role in the development of advanced electrical components and embedded systems for EV charging solutions, IoT, and Home Energy Management Systems. Your expertise in embedded software/hardware and requirements engineering will drive innovation, while collaboration with suppliers and internal teams ensures that our products meet both technical and regulatory standards.

Key Responsibilities

  • Requirements Engineering: Gather, analyze, and document technical product requirements, ensuring clear communication with cross-functional teams throughout the development lifecycle.
  • Supplier Technical Management: Collaborate with suppliers to ensure seamless integration of components, manage product quality, and optimize cost efficiency.
  • IoT and Hardware Integration: Challenge design solutions from suppliers for electronic devices, including antennas, wiring, EV chargers, inverters, and connectivity solutions.
  • Cross-Functional Technical Support: Provide technical guidance across departments, working closely with software and product teams to facilitate smooth project execution.

Qualifications

  • University degree in Electrical Engineering, Mechatronics, Renewable Energies, or a related field.
  • Interest in diving deep to understand relevant ISO standards, communication protocols, and other technical requirements to enable commercial solutions like bidirectional charging.
  • Relevant experience in product development, hardware design, or application engineering, particularly in the EV charging or IoT sectors.
  • Experience in embedded systems, requirements engineering, and technical supplier management.
  • Nice to have: Familiarity with communication protocols such as OCCP, 4G, WiFi, Bluetooth, ZigBee, and Matter over Thread.
