About the Job
Deutsche Bank Technology in Berlin is seeking a skilled Technical Writer to join our team of developers and create high-quality documentation for our Java-based products.
The ideal candidate will have a strong background in technical writing, as well as a good understanding of technology, and be able to explain complex technical concepts in simple terms.
Responsibilities will include writing user guides, API reference manuals, and other technical content that helps our clients and technology partners to understand and use our software effectively.
The successful candidate will collaborate with developers, testers, product managers, and other stakeholders to ensure accuracy and completeness of documentation.
They will also participate in user feedback and subject matter expert sessions, making proposals on how to enhance the knowledge base.
Key Responsibilities
- Write clear and concise technical documentation for our Java-based products.
- Review and edit existing documentation for style, consistency, clarity, and quality.
- Set up the approach to manage technical and users' documentations for multiple applications.
- Collaborate with developers, testers, product managers, and other stakeholders to ensure accuracy and completeness of documentation.
- Participate in user feedback and subject matter expert sessions, making proposals on how to enhance the knowledge base.
Requirements
- Proven experience as a Technical Writer in the software industry.
- Ability to explain complex technical concepts in simple terms.
- Excellent writing and communication skills.
- Hands-on experience with JIRA, Confluence, GIT, and Markdown.
- Understanding of common design patterns and technologies.
