Salary and BenefitsThe annual salary for this position is approximately €60,000 to €80,000, depending on qualifications and experience. You will also receive good development opportunities, extensive training, and an attractive remuneration package.
Job DescriptionThis senior researcher position involves developing your own research field, preferably focusing on the neuronal basis of olfactory processing and social behaviour in insects. You will participate in collaborative research projects within and outside the department, contributing to teaching in Zoology and Neuroscience at various proficiency levels.
RequirementsTo be eligible, you should hold a Ph.D. and have a background in neurobiology and insect behaviour. Strong interpersonal, communication, organizational, and influence skills are essential. Applicants with expertise in insect olfaction and olfactory coding, learning and memory, computational neuroscience, collective behaviour, odour communication in social insects, or action selection in insects are particularly welcome.
