Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled Field Service Engineer to join our IONITY Operations team in Northern Germany & Denmark. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for providing technical support and maintenance services to our High Power Charging Stations.

Key Responsibilities
  • Technical Support: Provide prompt and effective technical support to minimize system downtime and ensure seamless operations.
  • Onsite Maintenance: Perform routine maintenance, troubleshooting, and repair actions at our HPC stations to ensure optimal performance.
  • Spare Parts Management: Order and handle spare parts for our HPC stations to ensure timely replacement and minimize downtime.
  • Remote Diagnostics: Conduct remote diagnostics on field failures by reviewing logged data to identify root causes and implement corrective actions.
  • Process Development: Collaborate with engineering and operation teams to develop processes, documentation, and diagnostic knowledge for standard service actions.
  • Quality Improvement: Recognize trends and patterns in field failures and provide feedback to the central team to drive improvements.
Requirements
  • Professional Certification: Hold a professional certified electrician (low voltage up to 1000VAC/1500VDC) and additional certificates in Environmental, Health, and Safety are a plus.
  • Technical Experience: Possess approximately 2-3 years of professional experience as a Field Service Technician, ideally with similar technical equipment.
  • Travel Requirements: Be available for travel, sometimes on short notice, and may require extended trips.
  • Availability: Be available for off-hours calls and work.
  • Education: Hold a technical degree in Electrics or equivalent.
  • Communication Skills: Possess excellent written and oral communication skills in English and German, with additional European languages a plus.
  • Self-Directed: Demonstrate ability to work and communicate effectively with external service providers.
