Embedded Software Engineer

We are seeking an experienced Embedded Software Engineer to join our team at Bose Automotive GmbH in Stuttgart, Germany. As a key member of our software development team, you will be responsible for designing, developing, and testing software solutions for our premium audio and noise management systems.
Key Responsibilities:- Develop software architecture and design for our audio systems, ensuring high-quality and reliability.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to integrate software components and ensure seamless system operation.
- Contribute to the development of Bring-up Software for reference boards, ensuring efficient prototyping and evaluation.
- Deliver production software to customers, ensuring high-quality outcomes and proper documentation.
- Participate in integration workshops and address technical dependencies and roadblocks.
- B.S. or M.S. in Electrical or Computer Engineering with an emphasis on software development for embedded systems.
- Experience with complex software systems, including cross-layer development, debugging, and analysis.
- Good understanding of vehicle architecture, including communication protocols.
- Experience with System On Chip, microcontrollers, and operating systems like Android, Linux, QNX, AUTOSAR, codecs, DSP, and/or bare metal non-operating system based systems.
- Solid software development skills, including object-oriented designs, modularity, extensibility, reusability, and maintainability.
- Thorough knowledge in C/C++ and/or further object-oriented programming languages.
- Strong motivation to work in world-wide distributed and cross-functional teams.
- Ability to produce clear and concise technical software documentation.
- Organized and structured way of working, with ability to define and track work packages.
