Marketing Director, EMEA

Job Summary :
As the Associate Director, Marketing, you will be responsible for developing and executing the overall marketing strategy for Razer across EMEA. This includes creating a deep understanding of the audience and leveraging insights to shape Razer's position and messaging to the gaming community, youth, and millennials in the EU. You will work closely with internal and external teams to envision, create, and execute a comprehensive go-to-market strategy.
Key Responsibilities :
- Develop and implement comprehensive marketing plans and programs to support sales and revenue objectives.
- Provide ongoing tracking, measurement, KPI, and ROI analysis for marketing initiatives and campaigns.
- Develop and execute marketing and PR strategy for Razer EU, focusing on the UK, France, and DE.
- Evaluate and develop the retail channel strategy and regional targets with the VP of Sales.
- Work closely with regional sales teams to deliver sales and growth targets.
- Develop and execute retail launch plans for new products in line with company's go-to-market strategy.
- Help maintain budget for the entire department, including headcount and ad spend.
- Work with marketing-related agencies to achieve regional marketing, community, and PR goals.
- Ensure social and Esports activations are in line with regional requirements.
- Lead a 'For Gamers. By Gamers.' mindset, developing data-informed strategies to acquire and retain valuable customers.
- Connect with gaming communities, youth, and millennials through a digital-first lens.
- Negotiate with vendors and contractors for pricing and cost of goods.
- Direct involvement in co-marketing activities, including coordinating business and marketing development with partners.
- Research and analyze financial, technological, and demographic factors to capitalize on market opportunities.
- Gather and prioritize functional and product requirements to support product feature requests.
- Help empower and grow a high-performing marketing team, driving the vision and overseeing efforts across functions.
- Maintain a strong organization and team culture consistent with Razer's values and best practices.
Requirements :
- 10+ years in Marketing, with at least 3 years at a senior level, managing large teams and complex brand/distribution environments.
- Demonstrated experience managing Brand Strategy, Media, Digital/Ecommerce, Social Media, and Creative development.
- Strong communication skills, with the ability to understand and synthesize complicated scenarios.
- Persuasive, collaborative, and able to work across multiple stakeholders.
- Nimble and fast, with the ability to adapt to a rapidly changing environment.
- Strategic and creative thinking, with the ability to create innovative marketing plans.
- Entrepreneurial spirit, with a willingness to challenge the status quo and test new strategies.
- Highly organized, with the ability to multi-task and manage multiple projects.
- Gaming industry experience required.
- Consumer electronics industry desired.
- Extensive experience managing a marketing budget and team.
- Background working with brick-and-mortar and/or digital retailers.
- Familiarity collaborating with the UK, DE, and France.
- Experience with product launches and events.
