IT Project Manager

We are seeking an experienced IT Project Manager to join our team at GULP – experts united. As an IT Project Manager, you will be responsible for managing complex projects related to the German healthcare system.
Job Description:The ideal candidate will have several years of experience in managing complex projects, ideally related to the German healthcare system. You will lead interdisciplinary teams and coordinate external partners, combined with strong self-organization. Excellent communication and assertiveness skills are required, as well as the ability to moderate decision-making processes in a targeted manner.
Responsibilities:- Technical and organizational management of digitalization projects and interdisciplinary project teams
- Operational management of projects, including active promotion of all project activities, from planning to process development and testing to go-live
- Ensuring professional project management methods, continuous monitoring of progress and preparation of status reports and documents (e.g. project/time schedules, cost control); regular reporting to the client and steering committee
- Close cooperation and coordination with specialist departments and IT teams as well as coordination of external IT service providers and partners
- Preparation of contracts, service specifications, data protection impact assessments, operational documentation and other necessary documents in collaboration with the relevant specialist departments
- Willingness to take responsibility for various IT projects, e.g. in the areas of clinical applications, technical infrastructure, telematics infrastructure and the like
- Completed studies in a STEM subject, economics, medicine or a subject area with a focus on empirical methods
- Several years of experience in managing complex projects, ideally related to the German healthcare system
- Extensive experience in leading interdisciplinary teams and coordinating external partners, combined with strong self-organization
- Excellent communication and assertiveness skills as well as the ability to moderate decision-making processes in a targeted manner
- Knowledge of hospital IT infrastructures and processes as well as desirable certifications in project management, digital health and transformation management
