Job Summary

We are looking for a seasoned Enterprise Architect to lead our Solution Architecture team. As a key member of our technical leadership, you will be responsible for guiding and coordinating the work of our Solution Architects, ensuring compliance with our Enterprise Architecture guidelines, and providing direct support for our product families. Your expertise will be instrumental in shaping our architecture patterns and communicating their value to our product families.

Key Responsibilities
  • Develop and maintain our Enterprise Architecture framework, ensuring alignment with business strategies and overall enterprise goals.
  • Lead the Solution Architecture team, providing guidance, mentorship, and technical expertise to ensure successful project delivery.
  • Collaborate with product family leaders to align architecture patterns with business objectives and ensure effective communication of architectural best practices.
  • Develop solution architectures for business requirements, abstracting given business, information, and technology elements to solve specific problems.
  • Work closely with stakeholders to identify and implement solutions that support business strategies and are consistent with our Enterprise Architecture.
  • Propose and implement a combination of building blocks for potential solutions, ensuring design patterns are correctly applied and documented.
Requirements
  • At least 7 years of professional experience in a technical/IT field, preferably as a Solution Architect.
  • Advanced knowledge of IT with a focus on strategic thinking and the ability to present architectural issues and negotiate with stakeholders.
  • Preferably a Bachelor's degree in Software Engineering, Information Technology, or a similar degree in a technical field.
  • Knowledge of building a scaled agile team.
  • Knowledge and experience with service-oriented architecture (SOA).
  • Knowledge of microservices and monolithic architectures as well as a combination of these architectures in a living landscape.
  • A high level of English and German language skills.
  • TOGAF10 certificate.
  • BPMN2 certificate.
