About the Role:
We are seeking a skilled Construction Engineer to join our team at Die Autobahn, specializing in structural design and construction projects. As a key member of our Construction and Maintenance department, you will be responsible for delivering high-quality projects that meet our company's standards.
Key Responsibilities:
- Lead project work on complex construction projects, including multi-span structures, prestressed concrete bridges, and composite and reinforced concrete bridges.
- Manage project tasks in all phases, preparing tender documents, tender procedures, and contract processing.
- Design structures, preparing structural designs with calculations, and creating tender documents and procurement for new construction, expansion, and maintenance measures.
- Provide technical supervision of bridge, tunnel, and other engineering projects.
- Collaborate and coordinate with colleagues, external planning and engineering offices, and contracted construction companies.
- Review plans of structures, coordinating with internal or external experts.
- Monitor and manage construction implementation, including billing of construction services and processing variations.
Requirements:
- Degree in Civil Engineering with a focus on structural engineering or equivalent knowledge and experience.
- Strong knowledge in construction project management focusing on structural engineering.
- Skills and knowledge in data processing and proficiency in MS-Office.
- Experience in applying relevant standards and guidelines in Structural Engineering and knowledge in contract law, especially HOAI, UVO, and VgV, as well as in the calculation and procurement of engineering services.
- Driver's license Class B.
Desirable Qualifications:
- Knowledge in SIB structures, iTwo, and AutoCAD.
