Job Summary
We are seeking a highly skilled IT Infrastructure Specialist to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for the administration, configuration, and support of our information systems, as well as the care and maintenance of our IT hardware and software.
Key Responsibilities
- Administer, configure, and support information systems to ensure optimal performance and reliability.
- Care and maintain our own IT hardware and software to prevent downtime and ensure smooth operations.
- Collaborate with suppliers to manage existing support contracts and ensure timely resolution of technical issues.
- Proactively monitor and supervise data backup processes to prevent data loss.
- Ensure the operation and functionality of our IT systems, applications, and connected subsystems.
- Implement and collaborate in IT projects to optimize and expand our IT infrastructure.
- Create and revise IT processes to improve efficiency and effectiveness.
- Act as a contact person and support for internal employees in all IT matters, including user training and advice, installation, and administration of IT client systems.
Requirements
- Completed university or university of applied sciences degree in a relevant computer science course, or comparable IT training as an IT specialist or IT clerk with several years of relevant professional experience.
- Sound knowledge of Microsoft Windows operating systems, MS Office, network architecture, databases, Microsoft Active Directory Domain Services, and IT security.
- Excellent written and spoken German language skills.
- Quick comprehension, strong analytical, conceptual, and organizational skills.
- Process- and solution-oriented, systematic working style.
- Strong communication skills, interpersonal skills, willingness to innovate, assertiveness, ability to work in a team, commitment, and high reliability.
