We are the global market leader for reusable packaging containers (RPCs) for fresh food, constantly optimizing our products to make the food supply cycle more sustainable.

Our RPCs improve food transport safety, reduce waste, and increase product lifespan, resulting in a lower carbon footprint.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Manage IT programs across our entire landscape, reporting directly to the Senior Manager Operational Technology IT and the Director of Transformation & Portfolio Management.
  • Oversee project activities to achieve a common purpose around IFCO Service Centers globally, ensuring project execution plans are established and executed.
  • Liaise closely with business and IT Leadership to fulfill IFCO's strategy regarding Service Center IT projects.
  • Manage IT suppliers across depots, identifying cost improvements and monitoring project progress.
  • Ensure timely and budget-friendly deliveries, resource availability, and planning.
  • Identify synergies across depots, considering IFCO's vision and strategy.
  • Establish relationships with suppliers and partners to guarantee a qualified partner network supporting the company's targets.
  • Own operational and commercial responsibility throughout all project phases, from preparation to handover to the customer's IT operations.

We Expect:

  • University degree in business informatics, business administration with a focus on IT, or comparable.
  • Several years of experience working as a project manager in an IT environment.
  • Knowledge of IT infrastructure, shopfloor, and operations IT.
  • Proficiency in various project management methodologies, such as Agile, Scrum, Waterfall, etc.
  • Understanding of risk assessment, mitigation strategies, and contingency planning to ensure project success.
  • Knowledge of quality assurance processes to maintain high standards and deliver products meeting or exceeding expectations.
  • Familiarity with budgeting processes and resource allocation techniques to optimize project outcomes within constraints.
  • Understanding of IT infrastructure components, architectures, and systems to effectively plan and execute projects within IT environments.
  • Ability to quickly understand customer requirements, accurately interpret underlying needs, buying behavior, change drivers, influencers, and direction.
  • Ability to extract and define key drivers to customer decision-making processes.
  • Fluent in English; good understanding of German.
