Job Description

We are seeking an enthusiastic and motivated expert to join our expanding Environment Team in Europe.

The ideal candidate will have a strong background in environmental risk assessments and study monitoring.

The successful candidate will be responsible for delivering ecotoxicology work, contributing to the development of the team's skills and work scheduling.

Key duties include:

  • Data Gap Analysis (DGA) including early phase testing strategy
  • Presentation of argumentation for waiving of certain studies where possible
  • Design and study monitoring of appropriate laboratory and field ecotoxicological studies
  • Drafting of relevant sections of registration dossiers and undertaking risk assessments
  • Working as part of a multi-skilled project team to develop robust documentation
  • Providing strategic advice to clients and representing them in communication with Regulatory Authorities
  • Other tasks related to the registration of substances and products in Europe and the UK
Requirements

Essential skills and experience include:

  • Relevant scientific degree
  • At least 5 years of experience in one or several relevant EU/UK regulatory regimes
  • Ability to understand and accurately interpret data from studies and complex risk assessments
  • Team player with strong decision-making skills and keen to work in an international business environment
  • Experience in monitoring/evaluation of laboratory tests and higher tier studies
  • Ability to work independently and have a good attention to detail
  • Good communication skills and a high level of written and spoken English

Desirable skills include knowledge of IUCLID.
