Network Infrastructure Data Center Administrator

Zentraler IT-Betrieb Niedersächsische Justiz is seeking a skilled System Administrator to join our team in the area of Network Infrastructure Data Center. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for the installation, configuration, and administration of the network infrastructure in our data center.
Key Responsibilities:- Operating, monitoring, and troubleshooting the data center network infrastructure
- Patch and release management for all system components
- Creation and further development of automated processes/scripting
- Creation and implementation of technical concepts for the infrastructure
- Collaboration in innovative IT infrastructure projects for the justice system
- Visualization and documentation of project and work results
- A relevant university degree (e.g. computer science) and at least two years of professional experience or equivalent skills and experience
- Good knowledge of routing, switching, TCP/IP, WAN, and VLAN as well as WLAN networks
- Ability to analyze network protocols using various tools
- Basic knowledge of current security technologies, in particular firewalls, possibly also IDS and IPS systems
- Good general knowledge of Linux and MS Windows Server, as well as MS Windows client operating systems
- Ideal experience in the Cisco ACI environment
- A permanent and secure job in the Lower Saxony judiciary with a collectively agreed salary - depending on individual knowledge - up to pay group 11 according to the collective agreement of the federal states (TV-L) including an annual special payment (Christmas bonus) and an additional company pension scheme
- Flexibility through flexitime and teleworking, which allows up to 90% of work to be performed at home
