System Support Specialist

We are a global company, and our IMAGE Information Systems team is looking for a skilled IT / System Administrator to join our Rostock-based team. Our company has been creating innovative solutions for radiological image processing and diagnostics for nearly two decades.

As an IT / System Administrator, you will be responsible for ensuring the smooth operation of our centrally managed hybrid Microsoft Exchange environment. Your duties will also include maintaining and continuously developing our IT infrastructure and services for our departments, such as CRM, ticket management, Jenkins, GitLab, and Redmine.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Hybrid Microsoft Exchange Environment: Ensure the smooth operation of our centrally managed hybrid Microsoft Exchange environment.
  • IT Infrastructure and Services: Maintain and continuously develop the IT infrastructure and services for our departments (e.g., CRM, ticket management, Jenkins, GitLab, Redmine).
    • This includes the administration of some Linux servers and/or web servers with LAMP stack.
    • Error analysis and troubleshooting with development of strategies for service improvement.

Requirements:

  • Good knowledge of Exchange, Active Directory, and security concepts.
  • Knowledge in creating scripts and processes using Microsoft PowerShell.
  • Independent and structured way of working as well as fast comprehension for the solution of complex processes.
  • Service-oriented thinking and acting as well as pleasure in dealing with people.
  • Good knowledge of German and English, both written and spoken, because we work with an international team for international customers.
