Transaction Assurance Manager

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Transaction Assurance Manager to join our team at Siemens Healthineers AG. As a key member of our global team, you will play a critical role in supporting the financial workstream in large and complex M&A projects.
Key Responsibilities- Provide focused financial advice to the Siemens Healthineers managing board by performing financial due diligence and valuation services.
- Advising on and negotiating relevant contract clauses related to purchase price adjustment mechanisms and closing balance sheet provisions with target companies' management/advisors.
- Assist in the preparation and analysis of business plans and profitability calculations.
- Closely collaborate with internal stakeholders to ensure all impacts and risks to the target's financials are assessed.
- Build and maintain trusted working relationships with other parts of Siemens Healthineers globally to establish the department as a trusted advisor.
- Promote and drive digitalization within the Transaction Assurance department.
- Manage and direct external financial advisors on a project-by-project basis, if required.
- Above-average academic history and career progression.
- University degree (Master or PhD) in Business Administration, Finance, Accounting, or equivalent.
- Many years of professional experience as an M&A/Financial Due Diligence advisor or relevant experience in Controlling, Private Equity, or Investment Banking.
- Detailed knowledge and understanding of M&A contracts and purchase price mechanisms, with experience in defining these together with legal advisors.
- Good knowledge of IFRS; CPA, ACCA, ACA, CFA qualification is an advantage.
- Experience working in an international business setting and intercultural sensitivity.
