About the Role:

The Senior Medical Advisor will be responsible for providing medical consultation and scientific background for campaigns and projects. This includes advising clients and agency-members, ensuring the best possible service related to high science, medical writing, and healthcare marketing.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Rapidly familiarize with new and different indications/specialties, such as cardiology, immunology, oncology, and neurology.
  • Monitor healthcare policy, the market, and competitors from a medical-scientific perspective, recognizing new trends and developments.
  • Summarize clinical studies and reference materials for the approval process.
  • Translate medical content into a marketing-oriented communication argumentation.
  • Brief the teams on key content and handle day-to-day business.
  • Maintain contact with external medicals and medicals on the client side, possibly with occasional travel.
  • Conceive and create materials (print and digital) on a medical-scientific basis in coordination with the Group Medical Director.
  • Be a competent contact person for clients for specialist questions and topics.
  • Co-create and present customer presentations, participate in customer meetings, and potentially moderate expert group meetings.
  • Record congress content and summarize it.
  • Collaborate with the team on pitch presentations and support the development and expansion of an internal medical network.
  • Train and further educate team members.

Requirements:

  • Completed scientific or medical studies, preferably with a doctorate.
  • At least 4-6 years of professional experience as a medical consultant, preferably in healthcare marketing or medical education.
  • Excellent German language skills and fluent written and spoken English.
  • Confident appearance and interaction with customers, excellent self-organization, and planning reliability.
  • Confident handling of MS Office programs and ability to work with scientific precision.
  • Presentation skills and knowledge of reference program Veeva PM (a bonus).
