Job Summary
We are seeking a highly skilled RAN Site Integration Engineer to oversee and perform end-to-end technical integration activities from Day 1 to Handover to Operations (HOTO) for respective zones.
Key Responsibilities
- Manage end-to-end technical integration activities from Day 1 to HOTO for respective zones, ensuring seamless site integration.
- Oversee RAN migration activities from DU to CU and vice-versa, ensuring smooth transition.
- Manage software upgrades for 4G and 5G, STU software to the latest software build, ensuring timely completion.
- Ensure accurate site inventory data insertion and generate FM and PM reports for new sites using OSS tools.
- Coordinate with transport team on transport dependency and related configuration at DU TOR.
- Troubleshoot issues related to radio integration/upgrade and CU/DU pod deployment, addressing and resolving issues related to first call testing and throughput.
- Coordinate with deployment team during ATP1C and other ATP tests.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Electronics & Telecommunications, computer science, or a related field.
- Minimum of 8 years of experience in technical integration and RAN migration activities.
- Strong knowledge of 4G and 5G technologies and software upgrades.
- Proficiency in using OSS tools for site inventory and report generation.
- Excellent troubleshooting skills related to radio integration and CU/DU pod deployment.
- Strong coordination and communication skills to work effectively with internal teams and external partners.
- Ability to manage multiple tasks and projects simultaneously.
Preferred Skills
- Strong understanding of Open RAN architecture and components.
- Experience with Kubernetes for container orchestration, Relevant certifications or advanced degrees are a plus.
- Basic understanding of Linux operation system, Relevant certifications or advanced degrees are a plus.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Very good language skills in German and English, spoken and written.
