Position Overview
The Finance Manager will be part of our global Corporate Accounting Team, reporting directly to the Vice President of Corporate Accounting. This role will oversee all accounting activities in Türkiye, Dubai, and Saudi Arabia, with a focus on ensuring timely and accurate financial reporting. The position is located in our Headquarters in Hilden, Germany.
Key Responsibilities:
- Participate in monthly, quarterly, and year-end closing processes for group reporting (U.S. GAAP).
- Prepare annual statutory accounts and corporation tax returns for local regulatory authorities.
- Lead and manage the accounting department in Ankara, ensuring effective financial review and control activities.
- Conduct financial review and control activities, including fluctuation analysis, analytical reviews, SOX controls, actual costs vs. budget, etc.
- Prepare annual budgets and rolling forecasts.
- Ensure timely and accurate completion of VAT returns and other local declarations.
- Collaborate closely with external consultants and auditors.
Requirements
- Fully qualified accountant with 5 to 10 years of relevant financial management experience.
- Proficient in SAP financial modules and Microsoft Office, especially Excel.
- Strong understanding of relevant VAT legislation.
- Knowledge of local GAAP, US GAAP, and Sarbanes-Oxley.
- Leadership experience with a solid grasp of management principles and practices.
- Fluent in Turkish and English, both verbally and in writing, across all hierarchical levels and with external authorities.
