Mechatronician for Building and Sorting Maintenance

We are seeking a skilled Mechatronician to join our team at the Road Transit Hub Hannover. As an Operations Maintenance Technician, you will be responsible for the maintenance and repair of our automated material flow system and building services in our logistics center.
Key Responsibilities:
- Perform routine maintenance and repairs on the automated material flow system and building services
- Conduct troubleshooting and fault diagnosis to ensure high system availability
- Collaborate with the technical team to ensure a high level of technical expertise and initiative
- Develop and implement maintenance plans to minimize downtime and optimize system performance
- Provide technical support and guidance to colleagues and external contractors
- Stay up-to-date with industry developments and best practices in maintenance and repair
Requirements:
- Completed (recognized by the IHK) vocational training as a Mechatronician, Electrician, or equivalent qualification
- At least 2 years of experience in technical maintenance and repair
- Good knowledge of building and technical services
- Experience in managing external contractors
- Proficient in using a PC
- Experience in troubleshooting and repairing automated conveyor systems and building services
- High level of responsibility and attention to detail
- Willingness to work in shift work and on-call duty
Preferred Qualifications:
- Experience in performing electrical and mechanical maintenance tasks on powered conveyor systems and weighing and measuring technology for packages and cargo
- Experience in implementing maintenance safety procedures (LoTo)
- Conducting fault analysis to ensure high system availability
- Knowledge of SPS-based control systems
- Basic English language skills
