About the Job

We are seeking a highly motivated and skilled scientific assistant to join our team at the Fraunhofer Institute for Solar Energy Systems ISE in Freiburg. As a scientific assistant, you will work on various projects related to laser technology and solar energy systems.

Responsibilities
  • Conduct scientific research and experiments in the field of laser material processing
  • Support the development and implementation of new laser-based technologies
  • Collaborate with colleagues to achieve project goals
  • Contribute to the development of new solar cells and modules
  • Participate in the characterization and testing of laser-based systems
Requirements
  • Master's degree in a relevant field (e.g. physics, materials science, engineering)
  • Strong background in laser technology and solar energy systems
  • Excellent communication and teamwork skills
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team
  • Fluency in German and English
