Overview of the Role
As an Information Security Manager at Eurex Repo GmbH, you will oversee the 1st Line of Defense initiatives, ensuring that business operations are conducted securely and in accordance with compliance standards. This position involves collaboration with various stakeholders, including the Chief Information Security Officer of Eurex Repo, as well as teams across the Eurex Group and the broader Deutsche Börse Group. You will be an integral member of a dedicated team within the Eurex Group, representing Eurex Repo, contributing to enhancement strategies, and implementing measures to bolster the cyber resilience of IT systems, thereby mitigating information security threats and maintaining essential security documentation and processes.

Key Responsibilities

  • Regularly report on the information security status from a 1st Line of Defense perspective to the management board of Eurex Repo.
  • Assist the management board in addressing information security risks.
  • Oversee security services and manage associated outsourcing tasks while fulfilling the Business Owner role.
  • Coordinate the IT application portfolio and classification processes.
  • Act as the IDP Coordinator, managing activities related to individual data processing.
  • Engage with various stakeholders within Eurex Repo, the Eurex Group, and the Deutsche Börse Group.

Candidate Profile

  • A university degree or equivalent qualification in Information Technology and/or Information Security.
  • Relevant work experience in Information Security and IT, ideally within the financial sector.
  • Strong understanding of the regulatory environment and the ability to meet these requirements from an Information Security standpoint, along with a desire to deepen knowledge in this field.
  • Excellent communication and presentation abilities.
  • A collaborative mindset, strong analytical and problem-solving skills, self-organization, flexibility, and motivation.
  • Proficient planning, prioritization, and tracking capabilities.
  • Quick to learn and comprehend complex subjects.
  • Proficiency in written and spoken English; good German language skills are a valuable asset.
