Job Description:
We are seeking an Advanced Aerial Computer Vision Expert to join our team in Munich or Karlsruhe. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for developing and optimizing computer vision algorithms for counter-drone applications.
Key Responsibilities:
- Design and implement advanced computer vision algorithms for object detection and real-time tracking.
- Develop streamlined pipelines for data collection, training, and validation of machine learning models.
- Collaborate with machine learning engineers to refine and optimize models specifically for aerial scenarios.
- Partner with the hardware team to ensure seamless integration of computer vision models with drone systems.
- Stay up-to-date with the latest advancements in computer vision technologies and research, with a focus on aerial applications.
- Participate in code reviews, maintain thorough documentation, and contribute to team discussions.
Requirements:
- Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Electrical Engineering, or a related field. PhD is a plus.
- Proven experience with deep learning frameworks like TensorFlow, PyTorch, or equivalent. Experience with CNN, Object Detectors, and Tracking.
- Strong proficiency in Python and C++.
- Experience with OpenCV or other computer vision libraries.
- Familiarity with cloud platforms and deploying CV models in real-world aerial scenarios.
- A hands-on attitude and strong sense of ownership.
- You approach complex problems systematically and document your results.

What We Offer:
We offer a competitive salary of €80,000 - €110,000 per year, depending on location and experience. Additionally, we provide a comprehensive benefits package, including health insurance, retirement plan, and paid time off.
