At STADA Arzneimittel AG, we are seeking a seasoned Data Protection Strategist to join our team. As a key member of our Compliance department, you will play a pivotal role in developing and implementing effective Data Protection strategies that ensure comprehensive compliance with global regulations.

Job Description

The successful candidate will have a strong understanding of global Data Protection laws and regulations, including the GDPR. They will be responsible for overseeing the creation and execution of Data Protection policies and processes, ensuring they align with our Corporate Compliance objectives.

Key Responsibilities
  • Develop and implement Data Protection strategies to ensure comprehensive compliance with global regulations
  • Regularly update the Data Protection program to reflect changes in laws, standards, and global policies
  • Act as a trusted advisor and Subject Matter Expert for Data Protection, advising on individual cases
  • Provide strategic advice and communicate regularly with senior management about the status, issues, and evolutions within the Data Protection landscape
Required Skills and Qualifications

To succeed in this role, you will need:

  • A diploma or Master's degree with a legal, economic, or similar educational background
  • 3-6 years of experience in a global professional or corporate environment in Data Protection, preferably in the pharmaceutical or healthcare industry
  • Certification in Data Protection (e.g., CIPP, CIPM) is a plus
  • A proven track record of managing Data Protection strategies and compliance programs
  • Expert knowledge of domestic and international Data Protection laws
  • High ethical standards and professional integrity
  • Project management and process design skills
  • Strong interpersonal and teamwork skills, excellent communication abilities, and the capacity to conduct training sessions
  • Fluency in German and English
