You're a seasoned professional who thrives in the dynamic environment of an early-stage startup. As a skilled software architect, you have a strong passion for coding and a talent for guiding junior team members to excel.

With expertise across the full stack, you'll play a key role in aligning your work with our company's broader business goals. Your experience as a front-end specialist has equipped you with a unique ability to adapt to any technology stack.

We're looking for someone to join our growing distributed engineering team of 7, consisting of back-end, front-end, QA, and DevOps professionals. In this role, you'll:

  • Design and develop high-quality, maintainable, and scalable code
  • Create efficient front-end applications that enable seamless collaboration among team members
  • Collaborate with engineers to establish best practices and ensure a well-maintained codebase
  • Provide comprehensive documentation and automated test coverage
  • Mentor junior engineers to ensure smooth deployment and continuous integration in production environments
  • Participate in code reviews and pair-programming sessions
  • Take a leading role in technical discussions during requirements analysis and scope definition
Requirements
  • You have a mix of technical skills and are highly experienced in ReactJS and related frameworks
  • Experience in architecting React Applications that facilitate multi-team contributions is essential
  • Familiarity with system architecture, software design principles, data modeling, and UI design is required
  • AWS and Docker or similar experience is necessary
  • Ideal candidates will have experience working with REST APIs, OpenAPI, and React Native
  • Previous experience in a start-up or high-growth environment is beneficial
  • Fluency in English is mandatory
  • You should be comfortable with the challenges of working in a fast-growing environment and driven by the opportunity to make a significant impact
  • Able to spend 3 days per week in our Berlin office
Salary

The estimated salary for this position is €80,000 - €120,000 per year, depending on experience.
