Hydropower Design Engineer

We are seeking a highly skilled Hydropower Design Engineer to join our team at Fichtner GmbH & Co. KG. As a key member of our engineering team, you will be responsible for designing sophisticated engineering structures in the hydropower sector.
Key Responsibilities- Design and develop detailed solutions in each planning phase of the project in coordination with the project team.
- Internal consultation and coordination with specialist planners and the project manager during the planning process.
- Creation of 3D models and construction drawings using common CAD/BIM software.
- Fully qualified technical drafter, civil drafter, state-certified civil engineering technician, or graduate (bachelor's/master's degree) in civil engineering.
- Relevant professional experience in structural or hydraulic engineering.
- Proficient in the use of common CAD/BIM software (AutoCAD, Civil 3D, Autodesk Revit).
- Solid working knowledge of MS Office products.
- Flexibility in producing drawings for a wide range of projects from Germany and abroad.
- Very good spatial visualization ability.
- Self-reliant, team-oriented, and goal-oriented way of working.
- A very good command of the English language.
- Wide degree of latitude for working under your own responsibility.
