We are seeking a highly skilled Financial Analysis and Reporting Lead to join our team at Mayford James. This is an exciting opportunity for an experienced professional to lead our financial analysis and reporting efforts, driving business growth and success.
About the RoleThe Financial Analysis and Reporting Lead will be responsible for analyzing financial data, preparing reports, and providing insights to senior management and clients. This role requires excellent analytical skills, attention to detail, and the ability to communicate complex financial information in a clear and concise manner.
The ideal candidate will have a strong academic background in finance, economics, or mathematics, with industry qualifications such as CFA or CIPM being a plus. A minimum of three to five years of relevant professional experience in a performance measurement or analysis role is required, preferably obtained with an asset manager or investment fund.
Key Responsibilities- Analyze financial data to identify trends, opportunities, and risks
- Prepare regular and ad-hoc reports for senior management and clients, including performance metrics, attribution analysis, and risk assessment
- Develop and implement data quality and validation frameworks to ensure accurate and reliable financial data
- Work closely with asset controllers to maintain comprehensive datasets and ensure data interdependencies are managed effectively
- Excellent academic degree in Finance, Economics, Mathematics, or a related field
- A minimum of three to five years of relevant professional experience in a performance measurement or analysis role
- High affinity for IT applications, with experience in programming and visualization tools favored
- Fluency in English is required, other languages are a plus
We offer a competitive salary range of $120,000 - $180,000 per annum, commensurate with experience, as well as a comprehensive benefits package and opportunities for career growth and development.
