Senior Specialist IT Site Management

We are seeking an experienced IT Site Manager to join our team in Germany. As an IT Site Manager, you will be responsible for ensuring the smooth setup, changes, and decommissioning of IT infrastructure, while maintaining high-quality service delivery standards.

About the Role

As an IT Site Manager, you will be responsible for managing the quality of IT services provided for sites, ensuring alignment with corporate standards. You will plan, forecast, and coordinate site setup, changes, moves, and decommissioning of IT infrastructure. You will also participate in the global IT Demand Management process, assigning site requirements to corporate IT delivery and managing service requests.

Key Responsibilities
  • Manage the quality of IT services provided for sites, ensuring alignment with corporate standards
  • Plan, forecast, and coordinate site setup, changes, moves, and decommissioning of IT infrastructure
  • Participate in the global IT Demand Management process, assigning site requirements to corporate IT delivery and managing service requests
  • Support continuous improvement initiatives for service delivery and operational support at Exyte construction sites
  • Gather IT technical setup requirements for sites and consult with businesses to document their needs in collaboration with IT Demand Managers
  • Forecast and plan IT installation timelines and resource requirements
  • Manage the overall quality of the installation and address any issues that arise
  • Maintain regular communication with both business and IT delivery units, including external parties
Requirements
  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field
  • Proven experience in IT project management or coordination, preferably in a construction or similar industry
  • Strong understanding of IT infrastructure setup, deployment processes, and service delivery standards
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to interact effectively with diverse stakeholders
  • Proficiency in IT service management tools and methodologies (e.g. ITIL)
  • Problem-solving skills and ability to think strategically to address challenges
  • Willingness to travel (required for site support within Germany, up to an average of 80%)
  • Proficiency in German, English language skills preferred
