About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Electrical Engineering Project Manager to join our team at HITACHI ENERGY GERMANY AG. As a key member of our Technology Center in Brilon, you will be responsible for driving the development of our Resibloc dry-type transformer products.

Key Responsibilities

  • Participate in and manage projects related to product and technology development of dry-type transformers
  • Develop, advance, and optimize solutions for high voltage-engineering and dielectrics-related topics in a global environment
  • Design and manufacture small prototypes for proof of concepts
  • Perform and supervise application-oriented experiments
  • Precise problem analysis and derivation of suitable solutions
  • Provide scientific and technical assistance
  • Contribute to the transfer and implementation of project outcomes into the operative HITACHI ENERGY units

Requirements

  • Bachelor or master's in electrical engineering with a focus on High-Voltage Engineering and Dielectrics
  • Sound knowledge in project management
  • A keen sense for current and future technical trends and technologies in the context of dry-type transformers
  • Good English and German skills
  • Motivation, creativity, and self-starter
  • Result-oriented and communicative team player within an interdisciplinary group
