Senior Mechanical Design Lead

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Senior Mechanical Design Lead to join our Central Services team at Lilium. As a key member of our production organization, you will be responsible for leading a team of skilled mechanical designers and overseeing the design of tools, fixtures, and development mockup articles.
Key Responsibilities- Supervise design work, including 3D modeling, 3D-model assemblies, and 2D engineering drawings.
- Review design concepts and adjudicate design reviews.
- Own and continuously improve the production organization's PLM environment.
- Manage staff competency and ensure scheduling of work is dynamically allocated to business needs.
- Run meetings and project-related sessions with requesters.
- Minimum 10 years of experience in tooling design for assembly and production purposes.
- Minimum 5 years of experience using Siemens NX (NX12-NX2212) on a daily basis.
- Understanding of tolerancing systems and industry standards.
- Relevant knowledge of manufacturing methods, materials, and processes.
- Excellent communication skills and ability to work in a team environment.
