Job Overview

Prodensa Group s.r.o. is seeking a highly skilled Senior Technology Manager to lead advanced technology projects and collaborate with a team of scientists and engineers in the Power Electronics Technologies Department.

The ideal candidate will have a PhD or MSc degree in Electrical Engineering or a related field, with expertise in power and energy systems, and research & development experience in power electronics, power systems, DC distribution, microgrids, protection, power conversion, renewable energy integration, motor controls and drives, electrification of vehicles and aircraft.

The selected candidate will be responsible for developing research proposals, obtaining government funding, and maintaining relationships with the external technical community. Additionally, they will develop technology roadmaps and strategies, provide guidance and coaching to technical staff, and champion technology realization and sound business cases.

The position will report to the VP Engineering & Technology EMEA and functional to the Global Technology Manager.

Requirements

Requirements:

  • PhD or MSc degree in Electrical Engineering or related field
  • Expertise in power and energy systems area
  • Research & Development experience in power electronics, power systems, DC distribution, microgrids, protection, power conversion, renewable energy integration, motor controls and drives, electrification of vehicles and aircraft
  • Developing and executing EU and German government funded projects will be welcome
  • Excellent communication and presentation skills in English and German (oral and written)
