Job Description

We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Financial Communications Lead to join our team at Delivery Hero. As a key member of our communications team, you will be responsible for developing and executing a comprehensive financial communications strategy that aligns with our company's financial and business goals.

Your primary focus will be on creating engaging messaging and content, including financial press releases, briefing books, and other materials for various audiences, such as media and investors. You will also collaborate with our investor relations and capital markets teams to ensure timely and accurate communication of annual reports and other financial updates.

In addition, you will build and maintain relationships with financial and business journalists covering food, online delivery, Q-commerce, and technology. You will oversee media inquiries on our financial performance and investments, and monitor market trends and business landscape to inform your communications strategies.

Key Responsibilities

  • Develop and execute a comprehensive financial communications strategy
  • Create engaging messaging and content for various audiences
  • Collaborate with investor relations and capital markets teams
  • Build and maintain relationships with financial and business journalists
  • Oversee media inquiries on financial performance and investments

Requirements

  • Minimum 7 years of financial communications experience in-house at a PLC or at an agency with listed clients
  • Excellent project management and stakeholder engagement skills
  • Strong relationships with European financial and business journalists
  • Excellent writing, editing, and presentation skills - English and German a must
  • A team player able to thrive in a fast-paced, rapidly changing environment
  • Deep understanding of European financial markets
