We are an early-stage spin-off at TU Darmstadt working on the forefront of innovation in edge AI, specializing in cutting-edge solutions that enable deploying advanced AI solutions on low-power and resource-constrained devices.

Job Description

We are seeking a talented and motivated AI researcher with expertise in Large Language Models (LLMs), Vision-Language Models (VLMs), and advanced vision models to join our dynamic team.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Develop and implement state-of-the-art computer vision and vision-language models.
  • Conduct research and develop innovative architecture search methods for computer-vision models, including object detection, segmentation, and classification.
  • Integrate and optimize LLMs and VLMs to improve performance in tasks involving multimodal data.
  • Design, implement, and evaluate algorithms and systems for real-world applications.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to deploy models in production environments.
  • Stay up-to-date with the latest research and trends in computer vision, LLMs, and VLMs.
Requirements:
  • PhD degree in Computer Science with a focus on AI research.
  • Proven track record of research and development in AI, demonstrated by publications in top-tier conferences and journals.
  • Proven experience in computer vision, machine learning, and deep learning.
  • Strong background in LLMs and VLMs.
  • Proficiency in programming languages such as Python and frameworks like PyTorch.
  • Experience with multimodal data processing and fusion techniques.
  • Solid understanding of neural networks, convolutional neural networks (CNNs), transformers, and related architectures.
Preferred Qualifications:
  • Experience with optimization techniques like AutoML, pruning, and quantization.
  • Experience with generative models and synthetic data generation.
  • Knowledge of computer vision applications in robotics and autonomous systems.
