Overview

We are seeking a skilled individual for the role of "Mechatronics Engineer / Industrial Mechanic" within our "Assembly Unstabilized GBS" division at our Oberkochen facility.

Our division specializes in the production and maintenance of sensors and comprehensive systems designed for long-range surveillance, catering to both civilian and military sectors. These advanced systems play a crucial role in safeguarding deployed personnel and protecting assets.

Key Responsibilities

Verify the completeness and accuracy of orders, addressing any discrepancies as needed Independently assemble intricate sub-assemblies and main assemblies according to production specifications Conduct final assembly and calibration of the complete device independently Clean optical surfaces and devices to ensure optimal performance Perform wiring, soldering, and bonding tasks Execute intermediate testing in accordance with specified guidelines Assess the interaction of individual components and assemblies, making necessary adjustments Accept completed devices after thorough evaluation Implement quality assurance measures and document the entire production and acceptance process

Candidate Profile

Completed vocational training as an industrial mechanic, mechatronics technician, or a related field Relevant experience in assembling optical and/or mechanical devices Familiarity with SAP systems Proficient in handling precision mechanical, electronic, and optical components and assemblies Knowledgeable in soldering, crimping, and adhesive bonding techniques Strong technical acumen Ability to work independently, with flexibility and teamwork skills High performance and quality orientation Proficient in German language
