Job Title: French Canadian Junior AI Linguist

Milengo GmbH, a leading language service provider, is seeking a skilled French Canadian Junior AI Linguist to join our team. As a linguist, you will play a crucial role in content localization, working with machine translation and large language models to deliver high-quality results.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Review and post-edit machine-generated content in French Canadian, ensuring accuracy and consistency.
  • Collaborate with other linguists to implement new AI technologies and workflows in content localization.
Requirements:

To be successful in this role, you must have:

  • A strong interest in working with machine translation and large language models.
  • Flexibility and versatility in supporting various workflows and tools.
  • Reliability and attention to detail in following guidelines and ensuring quality.
  • Linguistic expertise as a native Canadian French speaker.

Nice to have:

  • CAT tools knowledge, although not required.
  • Prior experience with machine translation (MTPE) workflows, but openness to learn new technologies is more important.
  • Proficiency in German is a plus.

Shortlisted candidates will be asked to complete a short test to assess their linguistic skills. The test will take between 30 minutes to 1 hour and will be carried out in memoQ CAT tool or Word document, depending on your preference. In your application, please write a few sentences on why you think you are right for this position and what you understand as being an AI linguist.

This is a freelance position, and there is no interview step.
