Production Manager

The Machine, Cryogenics, and Superconductivity (MCS) Business Unit, based in Hannover, Germany, is part of the Acceleration Units Business Group. We are seeking a Production Manager to join our team.
Key Responsibilities:
- Lead the production management of the MCS division, ensuring the professional and disciplinary responsibility for employees within scope.
- Develop and implement efficient production processes, adhering to quality standards, processes, and controls.
- Implement control and management systems to ensure timely completion and delivery according to order requirements.
- Drive the implementation of 5S, Lean Management, and Just-in-Time (JiT) procedures in the production area.
- Improve quality results to enhance customer satisfaction and promote a zero-defect mentality.
- Design and implement an industry plan and dashboard to increase productivity and implement initiatives for cost optimization.
- Collaborate closely with customers, business partners, suppliers, and internal departments such as the MCS Executive Management Team, HSE manager, and sales and marketing teams.
Requirements:
- Completed degree in mechanical or electrical engineering or a comparable qualification.
- Several years of relevant professional experience in comparable management positions for an industrial OEM, including mechanical and electrical manufacturing, with experience in Machine and Automation production being a plus.
- Experience in quality management and process definition/implementation will be an advantage.
- Fluent written and spoken German and English.
- Analytical, results-oriented, and capable of developing service strategies in cooperation with Nexans international units, external, and technology partners.
