About the Role

We are seeking an exceptional Solar Energy Solutions Specialist to join our Sungrow - EMEA team in Germany. As a key member of our Product Management team, you will be responsible for leading the development and launch of innovative solar energy solutions.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Product Development: Collect and prioritize product requirements for current/future products based on inputs from customers, Technical Sales, and internal stakeholders.
  • Problem-Solving: Identify and resolve problems on time, gathering information to conduct data-driven decisions and find potential alternative solutions.
  • Technical Specifications: Translate product requirements into technical specifications, transfer them to R&D, and monitor development progress until product launch/modification.
  • Cross-Functional Collaboration: Support various customer-facing departments, including Sales, Technical Sales, and Service.
  • Product Launch: Manage product launch with all involved departments, including Sales, Technical Sales, and Marketing.
Requirements

To succeed in this role, you will need:

  • Technical Background: A bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering, Renewable Engineering, or similar is a must.
  • Work Experience: 5+ years of work experience in the PV industry with a technical background.
  • Product Management Experience: 2+ years of experience in Product Management or Technical Sales of hardware, electrical systems is a plus.
  • Knowledge of PV Systems: Deep knowledge of technical requirements for PV systems in the utility scale segment, including product specifications, grid code requirements, competitive landscape, etc.
  • Language Skills: Strong proficiency in German and English (C1 level) is required; Chinese or additional European languages are a plus.
