Job Summary: We are seeking a skilled Gelato Server to join our team at The Gelato Fiasco, Inc. in Portland, Maine.

About the Role: As a Gelato Server, you will be responsible for providing exceptional customer service, scooping gelato and sorbetto, and maintaining a clean and welcoming store environment.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide excellent customer service, answering questions and making recommendations to customers.
  • Scoop gelato and sorbetto with attention to detail and presentation.
  • Maintain a clean and organized store environment, including the front-of-house area and gelato displays.
  • Work effectively in a fast-paced environment, prioritizing tasks and managing multiple responsibilities.
  • Participate in cross-training opportunities to develop skills and knowledge in areas such as gelato making, customer service, and store operations.

Requirements:

  • One year of customer service experience preferred, but not required.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and maintain a positive attitude under pressure.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with customers and colleagues.
  • Ability to learn and adapt to new skills and knowledge, with a willingness to take on new challenges.
  • Availability to work a variety of shifts, including weekends and holidays.
