About the Role

Coders Connect is partnering with a global leader in sustainable and digital packaging solutions to find a talented Data Engineering Specialist. This role involves designing and deploying scalable Azure-based data solutions, crafting sophisticated data models, and developing robust data pipelines.

As a Data Engineering Specialist, you will be responsible for managing data storage solutions, including Azure Data Lake and SQL Database, to ensure top-notch data warehousing with Azure Synapse Analytics. You will also ensure seamless data integration, implement stringent data security measures, and optimize system performance.

Key Responsibilities
  • Design and deploy scalable Azure-based data solutions
  • Craft sophisticated data models and develop robust data pipelines
  • Manage data storage solutions, including Azure Data Lake and SQL Database
  • Ensure seamless data integration and implement stringent data security measures
  • Optimize system performance and mentor a team of data engineers
Requirements

To be successful in this role, you will need:

  • Proficiency in Azure Data Factory, Azure Databricks, Azure Synapse Analytics, Azure SQL Database, and Azure Data Lake Storage
  • Strong programming skills in SQL, Python, and/or Scala
  • Expertise in data modelling, ETL processes, and data warehousing
  • Knowledge of big data technologies and frameworks like Apache Spark
  • Experience with data security, governance, and compliance practices
Qualifications

You will need:

  • Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field
  • Minimum of 5 years in data engineering, with at least 3 years focusing on Azure data services
  • Proven experience in designing and implementing large-scale data solutions
Preferred Certifications

Microsoft Certified: Azure Data Engineer Associate, Microsoft Certified: Azure Solutions Architect Expert, or equivalentDesired Skills

Experience with DevOps practices, version control systems, and CI/CD pipelines (e.g., GitHub)
