Your Role:
As a Senior Cloud Developer (f/m/d) specializing in Kubernetes, you will play a pivotal role in shaping the future of HANA Cloud. Your responsibilities will include:

  • Driving key innovations within HANA Cloud, impacting thousands of customer instances globally.
  • Translating high-level use cases into actionable technical implementation strategies.
  • Designing scalable and resilient services from inception through to operational deployment.
  • Engaging in technical discussions and architectural planning to refine our feature offerings.
  • Ensuring business continuity by developing resilient services, promoting automation, and participating in DevOps initiatives.

Your Qualifications:

  • A minimum of 5 years in software development, with at least 1 year focused on cloud-related projects.
  • A degree in computer science or a related discipline.
  • A commitment to personal growth and a passion for empowering others to achieve their potential.
  • Strong communication skills, fluent in English, and the ability to excel in an agile team environment.

Technical Skills:
Proficiency in at least one modern programming language (Golang or Python preferred), familiarity with unit and integration testing frameworks, Kubernetes, and Docker.

Learning Opportunities:
Enhance your expertise with advanced Kubernetes techniques (e.g., operator pattern) and sophisticated resiliency patterns.
