With a strong editorial strategy focusing on four key areas – adventure games, racing games, retro gaming, and games inspired by iconic titles – Microids has solidified its position as a major player in the international video game market. By collaborating with esteemed studios and authors, such as Pendulo Studios, Eden Studios, and Paul Cuisset, Microids creates original adventures that cater to a wide audience and brings beloved characters to life.

Job Overview

We are seeking an experienced trade marketing coordinator to join our team in Berlin. As the primary point of contact between internal departments at Microids, you will be responsible for coordinating trade marketing assets, partnerships, and strategies with worldwide distribution partners. This role requires strong communication and management skills, as well as a passion for video games.

Key Responsibilities
  • Coordinate trade marketing initiatives and ensure seamless execution
  • Develop and implement local campaign strategies in collaboration with the communications and marketing team
  • Report on all trade marketing activities and provide insights for future improvements
  • Attend trade shows and video game events to stay up-to-date on industry trends and network with industry professionals
Requirements
  • Minimum 2 years of experience in sales, marketing, or a related field
  • Proven track record of success in trade marketing or a related field
  • Excellent communication and project management skills
  • Experience with budget management and trade marketing goals
  • Fluency in German and English (written and verbal) is required. French (verbal) is a plus
