EWE TRADING GmbH is a leading energy company in Germany, and we're looking for a skilled Energy Trader to join our team. As a key member of our trading activities, you'll be responsible for managing large gas portfolios, developing profitable trading strategies, and providing market insights to support our asset trading and portfolio management activities.
Your Key Responsibilities:
- Develop and implement trading strategies to optimize our gas portfolio and achieve profitable results
- Manage risk and ensure compliance with regulatory requirements
- Collaborate with our asset trading and portfolio management teams to provide market insights and support their activities
- Stay up-to-date with market trends and developments to inform our trading decisions
Your Profile:
- Advanced degree in natural science, engineering, or economics
- Several years of experience in gas or cross-commodity trading, with a strong track record of success
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to communicate complex ideas effectively
- Strong knowledge of gas and/or cross-commodity trading strategies, with expertise in object-oriented programming languages (e.g., Python)
