IT Security Specialist

We are seeking an experienced IT Security Consultant to support the Director of Risk & Compliance and the global CMS IT Security Group in achieving the agreed level of information security and application security across CMS globally.
Key Responsibilities:- Collaborate with CMS Heads to establish tools and promote best practices for cyber security compliance.
- Work with IT and InfoSec Managers to define technical solutions, support models and best practices.
- Plan and improve IT environments for CMS member firms, providing remote or on-site support as needed.
- Reduce vulnerability risks and document protective measures.
- Fix vulnerabilities detected by our scanning tools, and establish remediation plans based on penetration tests, screening results, and audits.
- Maintain risk registers and expand the library of global cyber security policies and procedures.
- Support global and procurement projects; and provide information security awareness training.
- Participate in the global CMS IT Security Steering Committee meetings and support the global IT Security projects as needed.
- 5 years of experience in building and maintaining security systems, and previous experience in a hands-on consulting role.
- Skilled in InfoSec risk management and Microsoft cyber security technologies (SIEM, Purview, etc.).
- Hands-on experience with vulnerability management, firewall and application security.
- In-depth and up-to-date knowledge of IT systems and proficient in a range of technologies (e.g., emerging security tools and solutions).
- Excellent communication skills, ability to manage multiple projects and stakeholders in a complex organisation; willing and able to travel.
- Bachelor's degree in Information Security or related field, with relevant certifications.
- Very good command of the English language, both written and spoken.
- Additional language skills in Spanish and French are an advantage.
