About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Lead Software Engineer to join our team at Evermood. As a Lead Engineer, you will be responsible for leading our software development team and contributing to the design and implementation of our Evermood platform.

Key Responsibilities
  • Lead the software development team and ensure timely delivery of projects
  • Design and implement new features for the Evermood platform
  • Collaborate with the CTO to discuss new features and shape the user experience
  • Test and QA features before deployment
  • Maintain an efficient and sustainable codebase
Requirements
  • At least 6 years of experience as a software engineer, ideally with experience on the Staff Engineer level
  • Deep knowledge of Ruby on Rails and full-stack development
  • Strong knowledge of relational databases, MVC frameworks, and TDD
  • Experience with REST APIs, CSS, HTML, and modern JavaScript
  • Leadership experience, either in a leadership role or as part of regular responsibilities
