Logistics Operations Director for Supply Chain Efficiency

Ritter, part of Avantor, is seeking a highly experienced Warehouse Operations Manager to lead our logistics team and drive supply chain efficiency.
Salary Information
We offer an estimated annual salary range of $80,000 to $120,000 depending on experience and qualifications.
Job Description
This role will be responsible for overseeing the warehouse operations, ensuring timely shipment and export from Schwabmünchen. The successful candidate will also lead a motivated team in various departments, driving performance towards defined goals and monitoring relevant KPIs.
The ideal candidate will have extensive experience in managing teams, applying Avantor Business System tools, and supporting projects to improve processes.
Required Skills and Qualifications
To succeed in this role, you will need:
- A degree in Logistics, Supply Chain Management, or related field
- Significant management experience with a proven track record of leading teams and delegating tasks
- Excellent organizational and planning skills
- Familiarity with Lean principles and tools
- Experience in project management and financial analysis
- Proficiency in Wincarat (or similar WMS) and MS Office tools
- Native-level fluency in German and excellent English language skills
