Overview:

As a Content Designer at THQ Nordic, you will play a pivotal role in breathing life into our gaming environments. Your collaboration with Level Designers, Game Designers, Sound Designers, and Writers will be essential in crafting unforgettable experiences for our players.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop and script engaging quests and gameplay elements, emphasizing narrative and pacing.
  • Design and execute challenging boss encounters.
  • Work in tandem with Game Designers, Level Designers, and Writers to ensure a seamless player experience.
  • Gain proficiency in our proprietary development tools.

Qualifications:

  • Proven experience as a Content Designer or Scripter in a professional setting (notable exceptions for substantial and intricate modding projects).
  • Background in RTS or RPG game development.
  • Familiarity with contemporary content creation platforms (e.g., Unity, Unreal Engine 4).
  • Proficiency in scripting languages (such as LUA, Anglescript).
  • Capability to design engaging events, quests, and missions.
  • Strong attention to detail.
  • Creative mindset for developing compelling game content.
  • Effective communication and documentation skills.
  • Understanding of fundamental game programming concepts.
  • A passion for real-time strategy and/or role-playing games is highly valued.
  • Eligibility to work in Germany/E.U.
  • Fluency in written and spoken English.
  • A positive and proactive attitude.
