About the Role:
We are seeking a highly skilled IT Internal Auditor to join our team at Deutsche Börse Group. As an IT Internal Auditor, you will be responsible for planning and executing risk-oriented IT audits to ensure compliance, security, and efficiency of systems and processes.
Key Responsibilities:
- Plan and structure IT audit areas and risk assessments
- Conduct independent IT audits and participate in coordinated IT audits
- Provide consultation and support for general audits
- Identify deficiencies and improvement opportunities, and develop pragmatic approaches to solve problems
- Support the creation of audit reports and communicate results to responsible line management
- Follow up on audits and recommendations
- Support line management or IT projects and provide audit-related consultancy
- Participate in shaping audit methodology and processes, and support risk-based audit planning
Requirements:
- University degree in IT, Business Administration, or Data Analytics, with internal/external audit qualifications
- Minimum two years of professional experience in internal/external IT audit or information and communication technology and security risk management
- Proven knowledge of common IT standards, such as ITIL, COBIT, BSI IT Grundschutz, and ISO/IEC 27000 series
- IT knowledge, including network technology, operating systems, IT security, SDLC, and Distributed Ledger Technologies
- Professional certification, such as CISA or ISO CISSP and CIA, is preferable
- Knowledge of the financial industry and familiarity with DBG business processes
- High analytical skills, methodical know-how, and conceptual understanding
- Initiative, independent, and goal-oriented working style
- Strong communication and organizational skills, ability to work under pressure, assertiveness, and competent appearance
- Preferably project management experience
- High level of proficiency in both written and spoken English; German is an advantage
