Engineering Manager

We are seeking an experienced Engineering Manager to lead our Online Payments Tribe. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for overseeing the development of our APIs and SDKs, ensuring seamless integration with our merchants' websites and apps.
Key Responsibilities- Lead a team of 2-4 engineers, providing technical guidance and mentorship.
- Be hands-on for 70% of the time, contributing to the development of our APIs and SDKs.
- Optimize the squad's deliveries, focusing on business impact and customer satisfaction.
- Engage in design and code reviews, ensuring high-quality code and best practices.
- Advocate for test practices and techniques like TDD, Domain Driven Design, and pair programming.
- Use regular 1:1s to manage performance and guide your team's career development.
- Engage and improve our engineering culture through team-strengthening activities, such as offsites, hackathons, and knowledge-sharing sessions.
- 8+ years of experience as a software engineer, with several years in a Tech Lead role.
- Confident Golang engineer with experience with the JVM stack.
- Experience with distributed and fault-tolerant systems.
- Passion for clean, maintainable, and testable code.
- Mature and business-minded approach to work.
