Job Summary:
We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Category Director to lead our Men's Apparel business within the BU Originals division at adidas. As a key member of our leadership team, you will be responsible for driving the strategic direction and growth of our Men's Apparel category.
Key Responsibilities:
- Category Leadership: Develop and execute a comprehensive category strategy that aligns with adidas' overall business objectives and drives revenue growth.
- Product Vision: Collaborate with cross-functional teams to create industry-leading products that meet the needs of our customers and stay ahead of the competition.
- Team Management: Lead and develop a high-performing team of product managers, designers, and other stakeholders to ensure seamless execution of category plans.
- Market Analysis: Conduct thorough market analysis to identify trends, opportunities, and threats that impact our Men's Apparel business.
- Business Partnerships: Foster strong relationships with key stakeholders, including markets, retailers, and other business partners to drive category growth and profitability.
- Performance Metrics: Develop and track key performance indicators (KPIs) to measure category success and make data-driven decisions to drive improvement.
Requirements:
- Education: Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Business, Textile, or Fashion.
- Experience: Minimum 7 years of experience in product marketing, preferably in the apparel industry.
